Since 2001, Claudia Vieira has worked with a single drawn line, which may fill paper, wall, or a large space. Claudia has been requested to make a drawing in two stages, filling one large paper sheet stretched over the entire No-Eyes Viewing Wall.

THE INK DRAWING WAS CREATED WITH A LINE DRAWN DIRECTLY IN THE GLASS FACADE OF THE GALLERY, SEPARATING THE ARTIST ACTION TO THE VIEWERS INSIDE THE GALLERY, TURNING THE ACT OF DRAWING AT THE SAME TIME PRIVATE AND PUBLIC

THE DIPTYCH IS COMPOSED BY TWO DRAWINGS, ON THE LEFT IS A MAPPING FROM PORTO ALEGRE WHERE THE ARTIST WAS BORN TO NY, WHERE SHE LIVED DURING THE OPENING SHE REALIZED THE LINE EXTENDED IT SELF CLOCKWISE 27 TIMES, COINCIDENTLY THE SAME NUMBER OF YEARS SHE LIVED IN NEW YORK. THE MOVEMENT OF THE DRAWING ON THE RIGHT, IS REVERSED, NORTH TO SOUTH, MARKING THE RECENT ARTIST’S RELOCATION FROM NYC TO MIAMI, IN 2024
